Scrap the boys challenge

This was a challenge as I only have girls, and my hubby hates his photo being taken, so I had to pinch this gorgeous pic of my cousin's son.  The challenge was to scrap a Christmas photo with non-traditional colours.  I chose white and brown with a touch of green.

The chipboard frame, bauble, and Christmas tree are all by Twiddleybitz. I covered the frame and bauble with metal foil tape, and the Christmas tree was painted with Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst sprays.

The Anna Griffin paisley patterned paper was totally transformed with paint, mists, paper scraps, and washi tape.

My Twiddleybitz birdcage

A gorgeous spot we found whilst Four Wheel Driving on Boxing Day

 My birdcage using Twiddleybitz products....

I had to leave the cage open, because I like birds to be free.

I love how this turned out!  What do you think?

Some glittery Twiddleybitz

Hi everybody,
I'm a bit excited as my canvas was selected for an Honorable Mention in the Scrapbooking Memories Masters competition.  And I've had three projects selected for publication in upcoming issues of Scrapbook Creations.
It's Tina again with another layout using Basic Grey's Paper Cottage range,  and lots of gorgeous Twiddleybitz chipboard, and glitter.

I made the tulle flowers myself!  Aren't they pretty?
I'd like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas, filled with blessings and all the good things that life has to offer.

Creating with Teresa Collins

Hi, It's Tina Connolly, with a little something to share.
Here's a layout I did using papers from the Teresa Collins Fabrications range.  I used Green Diamond for the base, accented with Red Flowers, and Ornate Brackets as the inner background.  It's quite a simple layout, but I love the rich detail in this range, which makes a striking combination.
These papers are discounted only $0.70 per sheet at Scrapbook Diva's so grab a bargain while you can!

Sketch challenge

Here's my entry for Diana Fisher's Sketch Challenge for the Core'dinations Hard Core Holiday Crop.
I used Core'dinations Glitter Silk for the letters (gold) and punched strip (red), and Color Core for my diecut pieces.  The photomat was made using Coredinations Tim Holtz Distress collection.

Make sure you scroll down, and check out my other creations, as I have done multiple posts this weekend.

Core'dinations "Recipe" and "Bag & tag" challenges

My entry for the "Recipe Challenge".
The challenge was to create a scrapbook page featuring these 4 prominent ingredients of a classic "chocolate chip cookie":

BROWN SUGAR - Page must contain some type of Core'dinations Kraft or Kraft Core  cardstock, OR you may use any color of Brown Core'dinations cardstock that you may have on hand!  (I used Jenni Bowlin that had a kraft colour as its core/reverse side)
SUGAR - Page must contain some type of Glitter, Embossing powder or Bling. (I used glittered embellishments, rhinestones, and Core'dinations Glitter Silk)
CHOCOLATE CHIPS - Page must contain Polka Dot embossing, (I used Core cardstock that was embossed with a dotted folder).
CHOPPED WALNUTS - Page must contain some "distressing technique".(Mine was sanding, tearing and edge distressing)

Here's my take on the Bag and Tag challenge,   The colour looks pink instead of red as I took the photo in bright sunlight.  The chipboard pieces (tree and snowflake) are by Twiddleybitz.

 Thanks for looking.

Core'dinations "10 minute cards"

Here's my entry for the Core'dinations Hard Core Holiday Crop challenge by Tami Mayberry.

I've used Core'dinations (Foundations white and black, and Jenni  Bowlin Core Impressions in red), Spellbinders dies, & metal foil tape to make this card.

Core'dinations tags

Here's my take on the Core'dinations Holiday Crop "Embossed Tags Challenge" which can be found here.

I used Core'dinations tags, and after embossing and sanding them added a Twiddlebitz chipboard snowflake to one and a metal reindeer to the other.

Recycling! With Core'dinations

Here's my first project that I've completed for Core'dinations Holiday Crop.  The challenge was to "reduce, reuse, recycle" when recreating a book, and can be found here.
Here's how my book started out....a thrift shop find.
I removed all the pages before I embossed my Core'dinations cardstock and adhered it to the front and back
Here it is, decorated and ready to use as my December Daily (a record of the goings on in our household throughout December)

I've used Core'dinations cardstock as the base for my pages, and have saved the off-cuts to use as tags and embellishments.
I can't wait to start filling it up!
