I've entered a few challenges at Paper Secrets Birthday Bash and managed to complete five ver the weekend. Plus I was lucky enough to "steal the birthday present" at just the right time, and won a lovely prize. Can't wait till they arrive (there's some Tim Holtz goodies in it!)
For the shabby/vintage challenge we had to have paint, a pre 1950's photo, stitching, distressing, and pastel tones. This is what I came up with...
I created a hidden journalling pocket behind the photo.
I used some vintage seam binding for my bow. Love that stuff! The pink flowers are folded over into quarters and bunched together, cute huh?
The next challenge was to alter a box....
The papers are from Papermania
My youngest daughter pinched this before I'd even photographed it!
The "Remember when" challenge was to use the number 2 with photos of your kids.

The "Inspired by" challenge had a photo of bright lollipops, and cupcakes which was to be our inspiration.

And now for some sneak peaks....
Make sure you pop over to the Artfull Crafts blog to see more pics and a few other projects.
