My youngest daughter has caught the scrapping bug after the Fundraiser on Sunday. She came home and did another two layouts complete with journalling and doodling. That made her total for the day at 5 layouts! I only got 1 done, but love how it turned out. We had lots of lucky door prizes, a raffle, demos, a 'Sketch Challenge', more prizes, and cake (courtesy of the Birthday girl, Tania). A huge thanks to Lisa and Denise for bringing the Greenbank Scrapbook Shop to Veresdale for the day. The day was a success and we raised quite alot of money towards the kids awards night at the end of the year. We are hoping to do another one in July so I'll keep you posted. (Some even suggested an all day/all nighter!!!.... but not in winter!) Here's my layout I completed. And I'll add some pics from the day as soon as I upload them.

Crazy week

Wow, what a crazy week with all the rain and floods, the kids schools being evacuated, and finally, the drought being officially over.
My hubby hit a huge pothole last night on the way to work and its done thousands of dollars worth of damage to the car. And of course it was no easy matter to get it home with two flat tyres, and buckled mags! Anyway, we are lucky compared to what some people have faced this week.
I've also been crazy busy getting things organised for our Scrapbooking Fundraiser for Creation Dance. I've put together a heap of lucky-door prizes from my stash, plus prizes for a Sketch Challenge. Lisa from Greenbank Scrapbook Shop is setting up shop for the day and has donated a raffle prize. We'll have technique demonstrations & a scrapbooking class in the morning, and free scrapping for the afternoon. We have around 27 booked in for the day so should be great fun. Hopefully I get time to scrap too!!!!

Chipboard Highschool

My entry for the final week of Chipboard Highschool at Scrapping Outback. It's been fantastic learning all the different techniques, and challenging myself to make sure I get the layouts completed and uploaded each week.

A sneak preview of my "Glimmermist Grunge" class for Monday 1st June. Give Lisa a call at Greenbank Scrapbook Shop, if you'd like to attend.
I had a great group of ladies at class today for my interactive flower layout, and their pages turned out beautifully.
Another sneak peak, this time of some new flowers and embellishments available at GSS.

My new favourite toy

Can't wait to get in my scraproom and play. I bought some dies today for my new faourite toy... the BIGSHOT! Also bought some more Glimmermist, a nice rusty red colour. I seriously love that stuff, it's so versatile and easy to work with. Thought I'd post a couple of layouts of some of the little cuties in my life.

Demo Day

We held our first Demo Day at Greenbank Scrapbook Shop last Saturday. Lisa (owner) & Susan, Janine and I demo'd "Our Favourite Product". Must admit I had a really hard time choosing 'just one product'. I ended up doing "Things that go bling" and showed the ladies lots of tricks with Radiant Rain daubers and Glimmermists (told you I couldn't choose just one!). Janine did some gorgeous stamping pages, and Susan showed us lots of tips for dressing up chipboard. Everyone got goodie bags with lots of product, and one of the lucky ladies won a Cuttlebug.
