Hi there,
Wow, the past couple of months have been so busy. Our fundraiser went well, lots of ladies turned up to support the event and enjoyed the classes, free demos, and yummy food. Nearly everyone was a winner, thanks to the generous donations of lucky door prizes, and raffles. We hope to hold another one next year to raise more money for "chicks in pink'.
I want to share with you my latest creations for the challenges at Scrapping Outback.
This month my DT assignment was to create a sketch and layout for the Sketch Challenge. Here's what I came up with....
And here's my layout....
You can buy the chipboard here http://www.scrappingoutback.com.au/shop/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=lets+dance
The very talented Alicia Barry has set the White With A Twist colour challenge so make sure you check out her layout. We had to use white with twist of brown, khaki, and pale pink.
Here's my example for it...
And the Words Or Whatever chippy can be found here
Make sure you go and check out the examples by the other Design Team members, and don't forget to enter the challenges! Remember that challenge participants receive $$$$ to spend at Scrapping Outback, how cool is that!

I'm on a DT, and doing a fundraiser!
My first exciting bit of news is I'm on the Scrapping Outback Design Team! This has been one of my favorite online forum//stores for a long time. The best bit is they specialize in chipboard, which is one of my favorite things to play with. The DT are very talented, so I feel rather honored to be part of the team.
I received this gorgeous Mini-kit to play with which you can purchase here (& it's 10% off at present), and I've done a tutorial on how I altered the chipboard and how to make the flowers. Here's a sneak peak.
If your looking for some inspiration check out the White with a Twist challenge, Sketch Challenge, or check out the Products and Techniques section for lots of "How To's". As an added bonus all entries into the Scrapping Outback challenges win $2 (Scrapping Outback dollars) to use in their online store.
My next super-cool bit of news is I had a layout picked up for publication in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine (just a little bit excited!).
And for those of you living in South East Queensland, I am helping organise a scrapbooking day fundraiser for "chicks in pink". Through the Mater Foundation, "chicks in pink" offer support services for breast cancer patients. I lost both my Mum and my aunt to breast cancer so this is a cause very close to my heart.

Five Favourites
Hi everyone, thought I'd share five of my favorite layouts using chipboard. As you probably know, if you've read my rantings before, I love the versatility of chipboard.
I love how this layout turned out. I started with plain white cardstock, stamped, and heat embossed it before spraying with GlimmerMists.
I coloured the Words Or Whatever starfish and title using Smooch Inks and accented it with Dimensional Magic.
A close-up of the WOW title. I used Radiant Rains daubers, and Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to colour it. The colour has darkened the words I accented with Dimensional Magic.
I've used Words Or Whatever chipboard title and wings, and a heart cut using a Sizzix die.
More Words Or Whatever chipboard on this layout
The title was coated with Dimensional Magic.
And my latest creation! I had a ball creating lots of texture, and grunging it up.
I'll show you pics from lots of angles , to show the colours and texture.
The title is from WOW, and I used Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst sprays and Magicals.

Random stuff to share...
Hi everyone,
January was a really busy month for me. We went camping on Fraser Island which, apart from a few days of rain, was wonderful. It really is the most beautiful place. I'm sure you'll see some layouts about it in the future.
Anyway....just want to share some stuff I've been creating lately.
Cards using Kaisercraft "Sweet Nothings" paper.
One of my fav layouts, love the corner scroll and title in mirrored acrylic from Kutalicious.
A layout I created on the Greenbank Scrapbook Shop retreat (in between teaching classes)
The chippy title is from Words Or Whatever
This heart was from the Chipboard Techniques class that I taught.
Another layout using Words Or Whatever chipboard...
Here's a few of the things we made in my Christmas Club class.
Table center-piece.
Place cards...
Napkin holder
And a few cards...
That's it for today, happy scrapping,
Tina
