Sketch challenge

Here's a layout I did based on Ingeborg's December sketch for the challenge at Scrapbooking Competitions.  I had fun making the cute little banner.

Cool Christmas Tags

Hi there, I'd like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas!  Can't believe it's the last week of our Artfull Crafts Christmas Countdown already.  I've had lots of fun creating things to share, and this week I've mad a couple of tags.
The first is from Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas.  I used Kaisercraft chipboard letters under metallic tape, and coloured it with Copic markers, and alcohol inks.

I wiped some black paint over it to antique it, & I sanded across the letters to expose the metal.

I embossed the second tag, highlighted the raised areas with metallic rubs, and distressed the edges.

I used Graphic 45 papers, Kaisercraft bling, & Stickles to embellish it.

I painted the Twiddleybitz snowflakes with Twinkling H2Os, and attached some Diamond Dust using Dimensional Magic.
The flower was coloured with Glimmer Mist, and I added a good dose of  Diamond Dust (can you tell I love that stuff?)

I punched a strip using a Martha Stewart punch, and attached some fringed ribbon.

A bit of exciting news for me... I won the Mad Hatter Challenge, and was chosen as overall winner for the Scrapping Outback Wicked Wonderland Cybercrop.  They are sending me some scrapping goodies, as well as a $50 voucher to Scrapping Outback.....can't wait to see what arrives in the mail, I love surprises!
Thanks for looking!  Have a fab week.
Hugs,
Tina

We've had some wild weather in Brisbane the past few days, and power blackouts for hours on end.  I was hoping to post last night, but I was sitting in the dark instead!

I painted this gorgeous tree by Kaisercraft with gold paint, then added Tim Holtz Crackle paint on some areas.  Then I edged the branches with Diamond Dust to represent snow, and embellished it with Kaisercraft pearls, & rhinestones, and hung some beads to look like baubles.

I decorated a candle with these velvet stickers by Stampendous. (These stickers aren't designed for this, so I'll remove the upper ones as I burn it)

And the winner of my blog candy is.... Gab who said "Those ornaments are just gorgeous!! Oh, and I've been a follower of your blog since the last blog hop. And I live in Oz too! "

Welcome to your 19th stop on the Paper Secrets Holiday Blog Hop.

I made this to share with you today.

These acrylic Christmas baubles are from Kutalicious, a new Australian company specialising in laser-cut acrylics.  You can heat emboss, stamp with Stazon, use acohol inks, Stickles, KindyGlitz,

This is one my 10 year old daughter made for her teacher.  She used heat embossing and alcohol inksto colour the bauble and chandelier crystals.

I made this one using the same techniques.

...and the other side.
The 'Merry Christmas' sentiment is another Kutalicious acrylic.  If anyone is interested in their products, please contact me, and I will pass on their contact details.

...and the other side.

Woot woot !!!!

I told you I had some exciting news........I made the Scrappassion International Design Team!  This was the announcement on their blog

"We have found our new DT members!

We are very happy to tell you we have found 4 girls who will join us over here to rock this blog as well!

Welcome:

Tina Connolly
Melissa Docking
Elina Strömberg
Michelle Hodges

These are the girls who will be Scrappassion International Challenge girls! They will introduce themselves real soon."

Congrats to Melissa, Elina, and Michelle!    I can't wait to do all the fab challenges.
If you want to see some seriously gorgeous eye candy check out the original Dutch Scrap Passion blog .

As promised.... here's some pics of the next challenge I completed for the Wicked Wonderland Cybercrop.  The criteria for this challenge was to take your camera outside and photograph something that you do not see everyday.   OR    If you can't find something unusual than think about taking your photo from a different angle as perspective can change the most normal of things.

Now for some scary pics.....

This was created for Alicia's "Off with your head" challenge , where dealing the cards tells you what you need to use on your LO.  I had to use stamping, 3 photos, 10 buttons, and 7 ribbons (I counted string as a ribbon and used 5 colours of the web ribbon, plus there is a tiny ribbon threaded through a button).

The cute little spiderweb is by Kutalicious

Thanks for looking,  I hope you enjoyed it.
Have a fab day,
Tina
