Hi everyone,
Here's a couple of more layouts I've done as Guest Designer at Scraphappykat.

A double layout of my daughter dancing in a Choreography competition using the Gitz Design "Pretty in Pink" range.  (photo credit to Donna Ott)

Another layout using paper and embellishments from the Pretty In Pink range
Love the Giant Rhinestones sparkle in the sunlight!
And don't forget, there's still a few days to get your challenge entries done to receive bonus dollars at Scrapping Outback .

Misted and masked!

Gotta tell you...I loved doing this layout!  Had lots of fun using Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst sprays, masking and a bit of sewing.

The chipboard is designed by Rachelle Minnett & is available at Scrapping Outback.

I was inspired by the Friday Night Challenge at Scraphappykat.

A couple of cards - GDT at Scraphappykat

It's a good idea to make a couple of cards after you've been scrapping - you get to use up all those little bits of paper, and you have all the co-ordinating embellishments at your fingertips.  I made this quick and easy card with American Crafts cardstock, which I embossed and inked.  I sprayed my Twiddleybitz butterfly with mists, and added the other embellishments.

On this one I used a tag from Glitz Design "Pretty In Pink " Whatnots, and added some Teeny Alphas.  I misted over a die-cut doiley to create some extra pattern, added another doiley cut from old music paper, and a rosette cut from Glitz "Polka".

I'll be back tomorrow with another layout to show you!
Happy scrapping,
Tina

Glitz, mists, & Gesso

Hey there everybody!  I created this layout using some of the Glitz Design "Pretty In Pink" range, playing with the mists and gesso.  I'm entering it into the May Glitz Design Blog Challenge.

I used American Crafts cardstock (Peony) as my base, and smeared Gesso around with an old plastic gift card.    I then layered lots of "stuff" including tapes, doilies, flowers, metal embellishments, beads, and some gorgeous Twiddleybitz butterflies (which are currently on SALE!) and brushed over more Gesso.

I sprayed a few different colours of mists,  (Glimmer Mists are on sale right now for the fantastically low price of $8) and made some "splots", before adding smaller flowers, a layered sticker , & a journaling sticker which I remembered to journal on AFTER I'd taken the photos!

This layout was heaps of fun to create!
Happy scrapping,
Tina

My world is where you are!

Hi everyone, I'm back with another layout I created.  I used the Pretty in Pink 'Toile' and Polka papers , and created the pretty edging using a corner punch on the outside, and distressing and rolling the inside edge.
The Title Stickers worked perfectly with my photo, and the layout came together quickly and easily.  I left the Twiddleybitz chipboard bare, as the natural colour suited the vintage feel of the papers.
.
Stay tuned for some more pretty stuff in pink!
Happy scrapping,
Tina

Bonus $$$$ for completing challenges at Scrapping Outback

How Scrapping Outback challenge rewards work....

Hi all,
Just wanted to remind you all that a $12 shopping voucher is up for grabs for each and every one of you every month

Remember, we don't do a random draw with only one voucher available per challenge - At Scrapping Outback we AWARD EVERYONE who participates in our challenges with BONUS DOLLARS.
This is Alicia's Mini DT kit layout.

Challenge 4 and 5 - Mini DT kit creations or challenges $2 (there will mostly be 2 of these challenges)
* Plus an extra $2 bonus for those who complete all the challenges including using the Mini DT kits.
Total available - 5 challenges $10 plus EXTRA bonus of extra $2 = $12.
We think this is a great way to earn extra shopping vouchers every month. This way no one misses out - EVERYONE is a winner when they enter our challenges.
As an extra BONUS for the month of may - We are going to give away another $10 shopping voucher to one lucky challenge entrant. This will be a random draw from all the challenge entries overall for the month of may. So one lucky challenge entrant could be winning themselves up to $22 bonus dollars to spend in the shop next month.

So, come on, What are you waiting for......get those entries in to earn yourself those extra dollars to shop with.

Guest designing for Scraphappykat

I'm honored to be the Guest Designer for Scraphappykat . Kathie sent me the most gorgeous collection of goodies from the new Glitz Design "Pretty In Pink" collection, you can see it HERE.  I love the quality of their papers which is really sturdy, and punches beautifully.
Here's one of the layout's I've created...

I embossed the Twiddleybitz Chipboard which can be found here.

A cute trick is to twist the flower stems around an awl or skewer to create a vine effect.

Another trick is to cut the rose ribbon into individual blooms.  I used the Layered Stickers and cardstock stickers for journaling, and one of the Giant Rhinestones as an embellishment.

I layered the "Pretty In Pink" Whatnots behind my photos, and cut some doilies from the AC cardstock which you can find here.

I'm also entering this in the Southern Girls Challenge which is to use die-cuts/punches.  I've used a QuicKutz die for my doilies, and a Tim Holtz die for the rosettes.  I also punched a strip of paper with a Martha Stewart punch.

Thanks for looking, I'll be back soon with some more creations.

Happy Scrapping,
Tina
