Core'dinations tags

Here's my take on the Core'dinations Holiday Crop "Embossed Tags Challenge" which can be found here.

I used Core'dinations tags, and after embossing and sanding them added a Twiddlebitz chipboard snowflake to one and a metal reindeer to the other.

Recycling! With Core'dinations

Here's my first project that I've completed for Core'dinations Holiday Crop.  The challenge was to "reduce, reuse, recycle" when recreating a book, and can be found here.
Here's how my book started out....a thrift shop find.
I removed all the pages before I embossed my Core'dinations cardstock and adhered it to the front and back
Here it is, decorated and ready to use as my December Daily (a record of the goings on in our household throughout December)

I've used Core'dinations cardstock as the base for my pages, and have saved the off-cuts to use as tags and embellishments.
I can't wait to start filling it up!

Designing for Twiddleybitz....

I'm loving being a guest designer for Twiddleybitz, they have such fantastic designs and a whole new  range of templates.  I got my hot little hands on a couple of these templates at the recent Craft and Quilt Fair in Brisbane.
Here's what I created....

Twiddleybitz Products used:
Banner - BAN003
She Art - WOR078
Narrow Arrows template - TEM013
Frame from Vintage Keys Inscribed - VTG006

Other products
Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst sprays
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam
Dimensional Magic
cards, adhesive, Coredinations cardstock

I also made some Christmas cards using Twiddleybitz Bauble Mix (Product code XMAS015)

Another complicated card, but I think it was worth the effort.  Once again featuring Twiddlebitz, this time the Candy Canes.

And a third, simple card.
 Thanks for looking,
Happy scrapping.

Just sharing....

I wanted to share my latest favorite layout using Basic Grey "Paper Cottage" papers from Scrapbook Diva's.  I used "Porch Swing"for the base, "Clothesline" for my next layer and photo mat, and "Brunch" as my third layer.  I punched around all my layers using Martha Stewart punches.  I fussy cut a few doiley shapes from the reverse of the "Clothesline"paper.
The gorgeous chippy is by Twiddleybitz.  I painted it with Dylusions Ink Sprays and then applied Tim Holtz Crackle Paint in Rock Candy.  This was the first time I'd tried Dylusionals, and I loved the intensity of colour.  You can spray/spritz it, or take off the mister and paint with it (less wastage that way).  It doesn't have any shimmer but the colours are fabulous.

Here's a fun layout I did using a Crafter's Workshop template. I masked a rectangle using old scrap paper, then I applied Derivan Gel Medium with an old credit card, allowed it to dry then spritzed with Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.

I used Sawyers Place Washi tape and Authentique "Lively" paper and stickers

Thanks for looking!
Happy scrapping,
Tina

Playing with Twiddleybitz

I've been very busy playing with some gorgeous chipboard (one of my favorite products) from Twiddleybitz.  Do me a favour....go to the Twiddleybitz site, join the forum and check out all the eye candy!  OMG...... the girls have some of the most AMAZING creations ever!
I was also very excited to work on the Twiddleybitz stand at the recent Craft and Quilt Show, and a few of my creations were on display.
This was one of my cards which was on display...

Another Twiddleybitz card using their  Candy Cane chipboard.

And a look at the Fantasy Shadow Box frame....

I'll be doing a tutorial on the Twiddleybitz blog in the near future, if you want to find out how I made it.
Happy scrapping,
Tina
