So excited!

Hi, I'm so excited...my Design Team parcel arrived from Words Or Whatever!  Absolutely gorgeous.  I think I'll be up all night creating (I get so much more done when the household is asleep).
This is a canvas I for a mini challenge at Scrapping Outback. We had to use a wooden spoon on a project. I thought I'd make it practical, with a clip for notes and a shopping list.

I had fun using different media, and getting my hands messy!

I coloured my chippy with water colour pencils, and covered with Dimensional Magic.  The colour still wasn't strong enough so I painted over the DM with Alcohol Inks to give me these rich colours.

Hope you enjoyed my post today, and that you can find some time to get creative.
Happy scrapping,
Tina

Challenge entry for Once Upon a Sketch

I did this layout for a challenge at "Once Upon a Sketch" based on this sketch
and here's my layout....

I've used some Kutalicious laser cut acrylic as an accent.

 My journalling....

I'm also entering it in the colour challenge (brown) at 'Twinkle Twinkle'.
Make sure you scroll down and check out my other post for today....

A little bit fruity...peaches and apricots!

I've been with a peach and apricot colour palette for the Berry71Bleu colour challenge for July.
It's one of those colours that makes me cringe and think of 80's taffeta formal dresses (LOL).  Maybe not the best colour for fashion, but on a scrapbooking page it's gorgeous.
Peach/apricot tones are wonderful for bringing the focus onto people in the photos, because of the skin tones.  It's also a great trick to use when scrapping pics of groups of people who are all wearing different colours.
Anyway here's a couple of layouts I did...
I used Graphic 45 papers and a few Martha Stewart punches.

I scraped paint onto my cardstock using a piece of plastic, and tucked my journalling into a hidden pocket.  The gorgeous tag is by Marivic at Berry71Bleu, (she is so talented).

New Challenges at Paper Secrets

We have a heap of new challenges at Paper Secrets for July. Here are my DT examples....
The Manufacturer challenge is to use American Crafts so I used their paper and Thickers alphabet stickers on this card.

Card challenge: Use the following sketch, ....and the twist is to use a border punch.
And here's my example...

Colour Challenge: Red, white, and blue....and the twist is to use glitter.

And my example for the sketch challenge based on this...
Hope you can join in on the fun.

Don't forget we have a new challenge at Berry71Bleu.  I'll have picks up of my examples tomorrow.
Hugs,
Tina
