We've had some wild weather in Brisbane the past few days, and power blackouts for hours on end. I was hoping to post last night, but I was sitting in the dark instead!
I painted this gorgeous tree by Kaisercraft with gold paint, then added Tim Holtz Crackle paint on some areas. Then I edged the branches with Diamond Dust to represent snow, and embellished it with Kaisercraft pearls, & rhinestones, and hung some beads to look like baubles.
I decorated a candle with these velvet stickers by Stampendous. (These stickers aren't designed for this, so I'll remove the upper ones as I burn it)
And the winner of my blog candy is.... Gab who said "Those ornaments are just gorgeous!! Oh, and I've been a follower of your blog since the last blog hop. And I live in Oz too! "
Beautiful tree. Love the distressed look.

ReplyDeleteWow! That tree is stunning! From the snowy paint to the gorgeous crystal acents. What a great way to dress up the candle in the centerpiece, too. :)
