Wow, where did that week go? I can't believe it's Melbourne Cup day already. I'm teaching a class at a 'Melbourne Cup Scrapbooking Day', ....over here we use any excuse to have some fun! We're having morning tea, a class, lunch, sweepstakes, free scrapping all afternoon, best "hat" competition, and of course ...watching the big race.
For my DT layout this week, I fussy-cut around all the elements on the Graphic 45 paper, and layered them up using chipboard and Scrapdots. I added a few extra tags, and I inked the edges, and highlighted areas with Stickles, Dimensional Magic, and Diamond Dust.
The photo is of my Mum and her sister in America, in 1947, probably at their local department store.
I used a Martha Stewart punch on my photo mat, and embossed and inked my title (1947).
You're cards and layouts have so much detail. Love them.
