A blog award and some cards
I received a blog award from Teressa Thompson from Green Isles Crafts. Thanks Teressa, You made my day! When you get an award like this, there are certain responsibilities that go along with it. I need to thank the person who gave it to me with a link to their blog, post the award, share three things about myself (or things I like to do) and then pass it along to five more people.
So....three random things about me...spiders freak me out(but snakes don't worry me), I can ride motor bikes, and I used to ride racehorses as an amatuer jockey.
Now the hard part, because there are so many cool blogs out there. I'm passing this award on to:
Liz Gregory at Artfull Crafts
Hels Sheridan at pinkleart.blogspot.com
Jane Tregenza at janetregenza.blogspot.com
Mindy at Stampin Mindy
Julia at vintagewithlaces.blogspot.com
And now onto some cards I made (don't know if I'll be sending these, I just love them!)

Oh my, Tina! Absolutely beautiful! I agree, I'd have a hard time sending these as they are just gorgeous but what a joy it would be to receive and the smile they'd bring would be grand! Brilliant work!!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful cards Tina.. gorgeous colors and coloring, loving that lace. :)

ReplyDeleteLynn
Very pretty - love all the embellishments. X
ReplyDeleteThese are all so pretty...I can see why you would not want to send them! My favorite is the most wonderful time of the year card!
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful! If you send them though, they'll be loved and cherished by someone in person~ Plus you'll always have the photos!
ReplyDeleteWho are the lucky people?
Gorgeous cards Tina...i truly identify withyou tho...I've got a (no a few) pile/s of cards that I'll never give away - they're my faves - some I've made but mostly others have given or made mexxx congrats on your blogs award(s) totally deserved xx
ReplyDeleteAll of the pink and the gorgeous details are perfect! I can see why you want to hang on to these! Your detailed photos are great, by the way. If you don't mind me asking, what are you shooting them with?
ReplyDeleteThose card are gorgeous. Love em! I think I'll have to get myself one of those magnolias. I just found a local store that carries them.
ReplyDeleteJade - you'll love the Magnolia stamps, they are so sweet, and stamp really well.
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie - I take most of my pics with....my phone camera! It's a 5 megapixel, but I find that if you take the photos outside (around 9am or 4-5pm)in an area with indirect light they turn out the best. Otherwise try using the macro feature on your digital camera for the closeups. Hope this helps,
Tina

Hi Tina, It's very sweet of you to pass the award on to me and I really appreciate the thought! When I started my blog I had decided though not to get involved into any kind of awards and things like tagging etc. So I thank you very much for your kind gesture and hope you won't take it amiss when I don't post it on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI wish I were as early as you making Christmas card. Istn't pink a wonderful Christmas color? I love your Noel card!
Hugs,
Julia
